Rhys Black

Rhys Black is an experienced operations and product leader with a strong background in scaling businesses and developing remote organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Operations at Geomiq since February 2024, Rhys has previously held significant roles, including Director of Operations at Oyster®, where substantial growth was achieved from inception to a $1 billion valuation in three years. As the Founder and CEO of Delocate, Rhys focused on aiding startups in remote structures, while also co-founding and leading Trade Nations to enhance international exports through technology. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Yuvoh, RateSetter, and AIR Worldwide, contributing to product development and management in various contexts. Rhys holds an MSc in Geophysics from UCL and a BSc (Hons) in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Glasgow.
