Jim Moloney

Jim Moloney is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP since April 2000, specializing in corporate governance, securities law, and advising public companies and boards on complex financial matters. Prior to this, Jim held the position of Senior Special Counsel at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, focusing on mergers and acquisitions from September 1994 to April 2000. Jim's legal career began as a Judicial Extern at the California Supreme Court in 1992 and also includes experience as a Legal Assistant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates from 1986 to 1991. Jim obtained an LL.M. in Securities Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center, a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Pepperdine Law, and a B.S. in Accounting from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
