Asir Shaikh

Asir Shaikh is an experienced data management professional currently serving as a Sr. Datalake Manager at GIG Gulf since June 2022. In this role, Asir oversees various aspects of data architecture, governance, security, compliance, and cloud platforms, specifically delivering and maintaining a robust data platform on AWS. Prior to this position, Asir held senior architect roles at AXA Gulf and Network International, focusing on cloud data architecture. With significant experience at Cognizant and Principal Financial Group, Asir has contributed to big data technologies and solutions that enhance customer experiences and ensure effective IT deliverables. Additional experience includes a role as a Senior Officer at Maersk Line, Limited, supporting shipping applications and performing root cause analysis. Asir holds a degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
