The role of Content Executive:Ā 

Career track and level: Individual Contributor Level 2/3

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Content Executive to join our growing Content team. You’ll support the Commercial function here at Glean to repurpose and transform content, creating high quality formats and mediums that resonate with our target, higher education audiences, resultingĀ  in increased awareness and generate revenue.

You will also be encouraged to experiment with new and existing channels to find the best way to deliver our message, enabling Glean to become the ā€˜go to resource’ for thought leadership content for people looking to make learning quicker and easier for everyone!

Meet the team:Ā 

Glean's Marketing team is made up of four areas: Content (that's where you'd come in!), Demand Generation, Customer Marketing and Learner Marketing.

You'd join a team of three including Glean’s Content Manager (Jacob - your line Manager), Jason (Website Lead) and Box (Graphic Designer).Ā 

What you’ll be doing:Ā 

šŸ–‹ļø Crafting compelling copy: A confident writer, able to understand our in-house tone of voice to create and repurpose compelling and engaging content that ultimately leads to conversions. You’ll also understand SEO, understanding how different channels work for our audience with the ability to tailor your message to the medium.

šŸ¤ Leveraging a community: You’ll work cross functionally to source and scope unique user stories within our community and leverage this collateral to bring real life examples to specific personas.Ā 

šŸ—“ļø Stakeholder Management: You will work closely with the wider Marketing team including Digital, Design & Demand Generation, understanding priorities alongside our editorial calendar. You’ll also keep a top of internal developments allowing you to position Glean in the best way.

šŸ“± Social media: Be able to curate engaging content across our social channels, managing our online presence including engaging with Glean’s audience. You’ll also be confident in understanding our key metrics and drive our messaging backed by data.Ā 

šŸ“ˆ Keeping ahead of the curve: You’ll have your finger on the pulse of the latest industry trends, thinking outside the box and feedback on new ideas to be implemented. You’ll also understand how to leverage the latest AI technologies to increase our reach and create efficiencies within your role!

About you:Ā 

  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms, with the skill to match platform to message and content (ie Tiktok, Instagram).
  • A passion for writing and a flair for storytelling using real life user stories to target a variety of persona’s.
  • Confident repurposing content using brand guidelines and company tone of voice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience working across a cross functional team.Ā 
  • SEO knowledge with an understanding of how to work with data and metrics to increase brand awareness and revenue.Ā 
  • Experience working with Hubspot, Canva, InDesign, Hootsuite would be desirable and experience of SEO tools such as SEMRush and GPT tools such as Gemini would be a bonus!

£27,000 - £37,000 dependent upon experience

Location:Ā 

We have a beautiful office space in Leeds and we love it when we get together to collaborate in person. We typically operate a hybrid way of working, however some of our roles support remote working within the UK, if you live more than 50 miles from the office.Ā 

šŸ’” What to expect next:Ā

If we invite you to meet with us for interview, here’s an overview of what the process will look like:Ā 

  1. Screening interview with someone in our Recruitment team (30 minutes).Ā 
  2. First stage interview with the hiring manager and another Glean colleague (1 hour).
  3. Final stage interview which includes a 1 hour culture and values interview, plus a 30 minute task. You will be meeting with the hiring manager and one of the Executive Team.

Please note that your application should include some examples of your work or portfolio that represents you best for us to review. The content included should be at least 80% your own work.Ā 

Ahead of your interview you will receive a confirmation email outlining who you’ll be meeting and when, anything you’ll need to prepare in advance and any resources we think you might find helpful.Ā Ā
