Alice Young

Alice Young is a Senior Broadcast Journalist at Global as of March 2022, recognized as the National Newsreader of the Year in both 2023 and 2025. Responsibilities include presenting on Heart Breakfast and LBC News, as well as covering major sporting events. In addition, Alice serves as a Board Observer for the Personal Best Foundation, which focuses on empowering young lives through athletics. Prior roles include Newsdesk Editor at Bauer Media Group and various positions in journalism with Global and Radio News Hub. Alice holds an MA in Journalism from Leeds Trinity University and a BA in French and Spanish from the University of Leeds.
