Lisa Bates, PG, CEG, is an experienced engineering geologist with over two decades of expertise in landslide investigation and remediation, complex geotechnical investigations, and construction management at GMU Geotechnical, Inc. since March 2000. Prior to this role, Lisa served as a Senior Staff Geologist at Leighton and Associates, Inc. from 1995 to 2000, where the focus was on the Palos Verdes area and the Portuguese Bend landslide, involving geotechnical investigations, geological mapping, and document review. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from UC Santa Barbara, earned between 1990 and 1994.
