John Guertin

John Guertin has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in creative and security roles. Currently serving as a Security Officer at Grand Rapids Public Museum since February 2020 and working as an Exhibit Fabricator at Bluewater Studio since November 2019, John also holds the position of President and Craftsman at Heart & Eagle Company, where award-winning nature products are crafted from recycled barn wood. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Promotions and Art Director for Cascade Writers' Group/Great Lakes Commonwealth of Letters and working as an Ad Designer/Tour Coordinator at Grand Rapids Press. Early in John's career, contributions were made as a Cleanup Animator at Atkinson Film Arts. John holds a B.A. in English Literature and Drama from the University of Toronto Mississauga and completed a three-year course in Classical Animation at Sheridan College.
