Chris Matton advises GROUNDFLOOR on a variety of legal matters pertaining to real estate transactions, partnerships and company strategy.
He is General Counsel for Bandwidth, where he supported the launch and still supports the growth of Republic Wireless. Previously a partner at Kilpatrick Stockton LLP, Chris has been recognized for his professional accomplishments and expertise in the Triangle Business Journal's "40 under 40," the Business Leader's "Impact 100" and Business North Carolina's "Legal Elite." The Triangle Business Journal also has recognized Chris as Outstanding Corporate Counsel in 2013. He has also has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America (registered trademark) for Corporate Law and by Chambers USA. Chris earned his undergraduate degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and his Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University, where he served as Executive Editor of the Wake Forest Law Review.
