Gwyneth Butera, PhD

Gwyneth Butera, PhD began their career in 1997 as a Technical Expert, Information Developer, and Consultant at ILOG Inc. Gwyneth then moved to IBM in 2009 as an Advisory Software Engineer, where they defined documentation requirements, developed processes, and edited reference and user documentation for software libraries. In 2018, they joined Gurobi Optimization as a Senior Support Engineer, where they responded to technical support questions, conducted performance tuning for customer models, and trained customers to use Gurobi software effectively.

Gwyneth Butera, PhD obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Colgate University between 1988 and 1992. Gwyneth then went on to Rice University where they obtained their PhD in Computational and Applied Mathematics between 1992 and 1997. Afterward, they obtained a certification in The Data Scientist’s Toolbox from Coursera in July 2014. Most recently, they completed a Data Science Fellowship at General Assembly in 2018.
