About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive to join our team, reporting directly to the UK Head of Operations. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and optimising operational processes related to foreign exchange (FX) transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of FX and CFD markets, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Client Money Segregation Reporting, ensuring accurate and compliant handling of client funds.
  • Manage EMIR Refit and MiFID Transaction Reporting to align with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor trades and positions with various Liquidity Providers to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Analyse market swap rates for FX products to support informed decision-making.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for compliance and regulatory reporting projects.
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations for all cash and collateral accounts.
  • Process client deposits and withdrawals accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct cash and trade reconciliations to ensure data integrity.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial operations, with a focus on FX markets.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., EMIR, MiFID).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with FX trading platforms such as MT4 and MT5.
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of foreign exchange markets and related financial products.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
