Liam de Monaco

Liam De Monaco is an undergraduate researcher at Harvard University since February 2022, focusing on neural development in the Engert Lab, where weekly collection of neural data from larval zebrafish and design of experimental environments for behavioral assays are key responsibilities. In addition, Liam served as Chief Personnel Officer at Harvard Student Agencies from August 2022 to November 2023, significantly reducing company wages by over $35,000 through Federal Work Study Program enrollment, streamlining payroll for over 700 employees, and leading the recruitment and onboarding of more than 200 new employees. Prior research experience includes internships at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2018 and 2019. Liam is expected to graduate from Harvard University in 2024.
