Calden Wloka

Calden Wloka is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Harvey Mudd College, with a background as a Visiting Assistant Professor. Prior experience includes serving as a Scientist in Residence at Next AI, where expertise in computer vision and machine learning was provided to start-ups. Wloka conducted postdoctoral research at York University, specializing in visual attention at the Tsotsos Lab for Active and Attentive Vision. A former Deep Learning Research Consultant at Focal Systems, Wloka has co-founded Delph[eye] and worked in various roles, including Senior Vision Systems Designer at CrossWing, Research Assistant in neuroradiology at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and conducting research internships at the Max Planck Institute and University of Toronto. Wloka holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, a Master's degree from York University, and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Toronto.
