Carol Ramsey

Carol Ramsey is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on introductory courses and promoting inclusivity for historically under-represented students in the field. As the Founder and Consultant of CS ED Group, Carol provides K12 curriculum development and program strategy services. Previous roles include teaching computer science at IDEA Public Schools and Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders, as well as serving as an Education Adjunct Instructor at The College of St. Scholastica. Carol has a background in project management from positions at Oracle and XO Group Inc., and holds a Master's degree in STEM Education and two Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Secondary Education.
