Hosam A.

Hosam A. is an accomplished academic and engineer with extensive experience in computer science and electrical engineering. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since August 2020, Hosam A. conducts research on mobile payment security, BLE tracking systems, secure remote election systems, and automated attendance tracking while teaching courses related to secure programming, cyber operations, and system security. Previous roles include researcher at Louisiana Tech University focusing on cybersecurity and location-based access control, an RF System Engineer at Polaris Wireless leading customer support and improving mobile location systems, and various engineering positions across multiple companies, including Huawei and Orange, where expertise in LTE optimization, RF engineering, and network performance analysis was developed. Hosam A. holds a PhD in Cyberspace Engineering and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan.
