Linda Opie has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Linda worked at HCF Australia as the Head of Health and Wellbeing, where they developed strategies for the mental and physical wellbeing of 1.8 million members and 1600 employees. Linda also managed prevention and chronic disease management programs. Prior to HCF, Linda worked at Discovery Limited, where they served as the Head of New Business Development and later as an Executive Business Consultant and Relationship Manager. At Discovery, they focused on building strategic partnerships and implementing retention plans. Linda also worked as a Manager of Corporate Relations and Senior Corporate Account Manager at Discovery. Before joining Discovery, they worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Network Recruitment.

Linda Opie has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of South Africa, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Linda also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education & Sign Language from the University of Witwatersrand, completed in 1997. In 2015, they attended Harvard University for a Manager Mentor course in Coaching, specifically focusing on Business/Managerial Economics. That same year, they obtained a Certificate in Corporate Wellness from the Vitality Institute, with a field of study in Health and Wellness. In 2017, Linda completed an Executive Coaching - Leadership development program with Coaching Australia. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including an Advanced Certificate in Health and Corporate Wellness from the Vitality Institute, a National Certificate in Wealth Management from the South African Qualifications Authority, and an RE5 Financial Planning and services certification from the Financial Services Board.
