Jon Rafkind has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Jon began their career at EMC in 2003, working in quality assurance until 2004. Jon then joined Citi in 2005 as an IT Analyst, where they maintained existing IT infrastructure and implemented algorithmic trading components. In 2007, Jon Rafkind joined the University of Utah as a PhD student, specializing in an undisclosed field until 2013. Concurrently, they worked as an intern at Sun Microsystems in 2008. From 2013 to 2017, Jon Rafkind worked at HP Fortify as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2017, they joined HeadSpin as a Principal Software Engineer and later became the Director of Engineering in July 2019.
Jon Rafkind obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University, which they attended from 2001 to 2005. Jon later pursued a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Utah, where they studied from 2007 to 2013.
