Janet Ruiz has held various roles throughout their professional career. Janet began their career at the American Brain Tumor Association in 1990 as an Office Manager and Fundraising/Event Planner, where they successfully organized numerous fundraising events and managed patient programs. From 2001 to 2004, Janet worked as a Regional Coordinator/Market Development at Starbucks, and then transitioned to Hamilton Communications where they held positions such as Senior Account Executive, Director of Account Services, and eventually became the Executive Vice President of Business Relations and Account Services. Currently, Janet is the Vice President at Heller Agency, a role they assumed in 2023.

Janet also attended Von Steuben Metropolitan Science Center, although the duration and field of study are unknown.
