Carl Mays is an experienced technology manager currently leading the Plant 2 Process, Systems, and Project Engineering Teams at Hollingsworth & Vose since June 2018. Prior to this role, Carl served as a process engineer, focusing on process limits and stability in the spun fiberglass industry. Carl's experience includes a brief tenure as a Glass Process Consultant at Hollingsworth & Vose Company Limited, working on fiberglass furnace startups, and positions within Anchor Glass Container, including General Manager during semi-retirement and various engineering and quality roles for over three decades. Carl also held the position of Plant Manager at Ardagh Group, overseeing the Warner Robins facility and its workforce. Carl Mays is actively pursuing education in Lean 6 Sigma with a Black Belt certification from KPS - Oracle and has achieved a Green Belt certification from 6 Sigma US.
