Jason Gillmore

Jason Gillmore is a seasoned academic in the field of chemistry with extensive experience at Hope College since July 2004, where Jason has held positions from Assistant Professor to Professor of Chemistry. In addition, Jason served as a Visiting Professor and Interim Associate Director of Research & Development at the MSU Bioeconomy Institute, focusing on research related to organic materials for energy storage applications. A past Visiting Research Professor at Arizona State University, Jason collaborated on bio-inspired solar fuel production, and previously completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Vanderbilt University. Early career experience includes consultancy at Eastman Kodak Company, where doctoral research was conducted in collaboration with Kodak Research Labs. Jason holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Rochester, a Master of Science from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech.
