David Prete

David Prete is a seasoned Leadership Communication Coach at Speak by Design since April 2014, specializing in preparing senior executives for impactful speeches and providing coaching to Fortune 500 CEOs. Additionally, David serves as an Instructional Assistant Professor and Visiting Assistant Professor at Illinois State University, teaching courses in theater, acting, and film. David's extensive teaching experience spans multiple institutions, including San Jose State University, Northwestern University, and The New School, where various aspects of acting, directing, and public speaking have been taught. As a writer for W. W. Norton & Company since 2003, David contributes to the literary field while also holding a Master’s Degree in Directing and Theatrical Production from Northwestern University.
