Ken Williams, FCAS, MAAA, serves as the Staff Actuary and Chief of Advocacy at the Casualty Actuarial Society since October 2018. With extensive experience in the actuarial field, Williams has been an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Mathematics Department at Illinois State University from January 2002 to May 2024, specializing in Actuarial Science topics such as Loss Distributions, Life Contingencies, and Financial Mathematics. Prior to this, Williams worked at COUNTRY Financial® from June 1992 to October 2018, leading pricing teams for various lines of Property and Casualty insurance, and contributed significantly to Loss Reserving and Enterprise Risk Management. Williams holds a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science from Purdue University, obtained in 1992.
