Kristina Heidrich is an accomplished Environmental Research Scientist at Oceanwise Australia since June 2023, with expertise in project management and business development. Kristina actively contributes to the Coastal and Marine Ecosystems Specialist Group at IUCN while previously serving as a Forrest Research Foundation Scholar and Doctoral Researcher at The University of Western Australia, where a PhD project focused on advanced analytical techniques in fisheries and biological databases. With a strong background in marine research and data analysis, Kristina's prior roles include participation in the Ocean Impact Ideation Program and research assistant positions at various prestigious institutions, including the Thünen Institute for Sea Fisheries and the University of Hamburg.
