Sanjeev Sanghi

Prof. Sanghi obtained his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1985. His M.S. degree was from Cornell University and Ph.D. from the Levich Institute of the City University of New York. Immediately after his Ph.D. he returned to India and joined IIT Delhi as a faculty member in the Applied Mechanics Department where he is Professor since 2006. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of IIT Delhi and Head of the Educational Technology Service Centre at IIT Delhi. He has also been affiliated with the Transportation Research and Injury Prevention Programme at IITD. He was also a visiting Professor at University of Sussex in 2007-08.

Prof Sanghi has won many awards for teaching excellence, including the distinguished TA award at Cornell University and the Distinguished Teaching award at IIT Delhi. His primary area of research is Fluid Mechanics and he has published a number of articles in several reputed journals.
