Jennifer Creasy Koym

Jennifer Creasy Koym is an experienced surface pattern designer and illustrator, currently operating Jen Koym Designs since May 2016, while serving as an administrator for the Surface Pattern Design Community Facebook Group since October 2017. Jennifer has a strong academic background, holding a Master's Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from James Madison University, where Jennifer is also a graduate student and adjunct professor teaching web design courses. Prior to focusing on design and education, Jennifer gained experience as a biology teacher in Charlottesville and Greene County, and as a paralegal at Piedmont Legal Services. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech, a teaching certificate from Mary Baldwin University, and additional degrees in Zoology/Animal Biology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
