John E. Allen has extensive experience in education, particularly in K-12 public school systems. Currently serving as a Teacher on Special Assignment at Jurupa Unified School District since July 1995, John focuses on providing professional development for teachers. Previous roles include third-grade classroom teacher and Coordinator of Professional Development, responsible for teacher training and instructional coaching supervision. Prior to Jurupa Unified, John worked at St. Joseph International School as a Grade School Coordinator and third-grade teacher. John holds a Master’s Degree in International School Administration from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
