Sobre a vaga

We are looking for our accounting manager! The right candidate is knowledgeable in establishing internal controls and guidelines for monthly accounting flows and routines, preparing financial statements in accordance with Brazilian and International accounting principles, coordinating and supporting external auditors in publishing the annual balance and also ensuring compliance with the mandatory requirements to comply with regulatory government in Brazil and abroad. You ideally need to have experience in insurance accounting practices and also international reports, speaking fluent English is essential, as you will have an active performance and interaction with other areas of Justos inside and outside Brazil. What we’re looking for:

• Team player who works well cross-functionally, especially developing new routines and in the automatization of the process
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, loves autonomy
• You have to love numbers, reconciliation and spreadsheets
• Excellent analytical skills and sharp business acumen for leveraging financial view, taxs and accounting improvements.
• Able to support the implementation of new systems and ERP while prioritizing and shipping projects on time
• Exceptional communication (written and oral) and organizational skills
• Roll-up-the sleeves work ethic and “do-what-it takes” attitude to efficiently execute and drive for results in a fast-pace work environment
• Proven ability to thrive in a results-driven, fast-pace work environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Have experience in the accounting area of insurance and in the use of mandatory shipping systems (eg FIP from SUSEP)
• Accounting knowledge of IFRS and USGAAP and cross-country optimizations

What you’ll be doing

• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions.
• Preparation of accounting activity reports monthly and annual balance.
• Production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
• Support for tax planning throughout the fiscal year
• Support the implementation of new systems and ERP while prioritizing and shipping projects on time
• Audits accounts to ensure compliance with the government regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
• Ensuring compliance with the mandatory requirements, including the use of systems like FIP and others, to comply with regulatory government in Brazil and abroad.
• Responsible for sending information to SUSEP on a regular basis
• Close relationship with regulatory agency - SUSEP
