Lean On Me
Jayda Fomengia is a dedicated medical assistant currently employed at PM Pediatrics while also serving as a research intern in the Johns Hopkins Neuroscience Scholars Program, focusing on the intersection of depression and amyloid burden in individuals living with HIV. In leadership roles at the Gemstone Honors Program, Jayda enhances the first-year experience as Co-Director of Gems 100 Steering and guides new students as a teaching assistant and CONNECT mentor. Additionally, Jayda contributes to cancer research with Team DOC, aiming to optimize machine learning for non-small cell lung cancer diagnoses.
