Dr. Swagato Sarkar is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden, focusing on the development of photonic, plasmonic, and hybrid opto-electronic devices through large-scale fabrication techniques since January 2021. Prior to this role, Dr. Sarkar served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where research centered on optics and the interference of multiple laser beams from January 2015 to June 2020. Dr. Sarkar earned a PhD in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, after completing a Master's degree in Physics at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Jadavpur University. Additional scholarly experience includes serving as a Guest Scientist in Nanostructured Materials at Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden.
