Leah Gilbert

Leah Gilbert is an Associate Professor at Lewis & Clark College, where since June 2012, courses in comparative politics have been taught, including "Introduction to Comparative Politics," "Civil Society, Politics, and the State," and "Transitions to Democracy and Authoritarianism." Previously, Leah served as an Instructor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and held research assistant positions at Georgetown University, collaborating on projects concerning European citizenship policies and civil society in Russia and China. Leah earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from Georgetown University, along with an M.A. in the same field, and a B.A. in Political Science with Distinction and German from St. Olaf College.
