Ashima Atul is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at LinkedIn since April 2013, Ashima has been managing and tech leading the Premium Subscriptions team since April 2015, focusing on customer acquisition and retention strategies. Previous roles at LinkedIn include Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager for Commerce. Prior to LinkedIn, Ashima worked at Microsoft from December 2008 to March 2012, where responsibilities included designing and implementing backend services for the Hotmail anti-spam project. Early in the career, Ashima gained research experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley and worked as a member of the technical staff at Persistent Systems.
