Thomas Mason serves as Laboratory Director at Los Alamos National Laboratory since November 2018 and holds dual roles as President and CEO of Triad National Security and Senior Vice President at Battelle since July 2018 and July 2007, respectively. Mason has a long-standing affiliation with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, having served as Laboratory Director and in various vice presidential roles from May 1998 to June 2017. Additional contributions include board membership at the LANL Foundation and significant leadership positions in local educational and innovation organizations. Mason's academic background includes a PhD in Physics from McMaster University and a BSc in Physics from Dalhousie University, complemented by advanced management training from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
