Deli Liu

Deli Liu is a highly experienced bioinformatician currently serving as the Scientific Lead for Discovery Bioinformatics at Loxo Oncology at Lilly since August 2021. Previously, Deli Liu held the position of Senior Scientist and Research Associate at Weill Cornell Medicine from January 2015 to August 2021, focusing on RNA-based machine-learning models for genomic alterations in prostate cancer and studying tumor lineage models. Deli Liu began a career in bioinformatics as a Research Assistant at the University of Georgia from 2008 to 2014, where extensive analyses on canine mammary cancer and oral squamous cell carcinomas were conducted. Deli Liu earned a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the University of Georgia and holds a Bachelor's degree from China University of Petroleum.
