Mohamed Hassan is a proficient engineering professional with extensive expertise in crashworthiness and occupant protection. Currently serving as a CAE Technical Specialist and Sr. CAE Engineer at Lucid Motors since September 2019, Mohamed has developed significant skills in the automotive industry. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Toronto from September 2013 to July 2019, and as an Assistant Lecturer and Teaching & Research Assistant at Cairo University from February 2009 to August 2013. Additionally, Mohamed contributed as a Research Assistant at the American University in Cairo between August 2008 and January 2013. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Design and Production Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Cairo University.
