Saara Backberg has a diverse work experience history. Saara started their career at Lammin Säästöpankki in 2008, working in document production until 2011. Saara then moved to OP Financial Group in 2012, focusing on OTC derivatives back office. In 2013, they worked in investment operations at Mandatum Life Insurance. From 2014 to mid-2016, they were a part of the Transaction Services team at KPMG Finland. Saara then joined LUMENE Oy in 2016 as a Business Controller and progressed to Senior Business Controller before becoming the Head of Business Control in mid-2022.
Saara Backberg obtained a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku between 2009 and 2014.
