Parkinson S Movement Therapist PD Movement Lab Teacher at Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan

Pamela Quinn is the Founder and Creative Director of PD Movement Lab, established in 2006, where functional dance classes for individuals with Parkinson's continue to be taught in New York City. Quinn serves as a speaker and teacher for multiple Parkinson's Organizations and has presented at renowned conferences and universities, including the World Parkinson's Congress and Columbia University's Narrative Medicine Program. As a Parkinson's Movement Therapist and Choreographer, Quinn is an originator of PD Movement Lab classes, which are part of the Dance for PD program at the Mark Morris Dance Center and also run at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan. Alongside teaching, Quinn has a background in choreography and performance, having worked with independent dance/theater pieces and danced with ODC/Dance. Pamela Quinn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Inter-Arts from Oberlin College.
