Wole Onabolu is General Counsel, Wole guides the Foundation’s management and Board of Directors on a wide range of enterprise issues. He leads a diverse and dedicated legal and compliance team, enabling the Foundation to successfully meet its legal and ethical obligations across diverse jurisdictions.
Wole joined the Mastercard Foundation from Baker Hughes, a global energy company, where he last served as Executive General Counsel for Sub Sahara Africa. During his 16-year tenure at Baker Hughes, Wole led and oversaw legal and compliance teams spanning Europe, Africa, Russia, and the Caspian, the Middle East, and Asia.
Prior to Baker Hughes, Wole was a corporate and commercial lawyer working with a private legal firm in Nigeria. He received his LLB from the University of Lagos and his BL from Nigeria Law School.
