Rose Aldenton currently serves as the Strategy Director at Meanwhile Space CIC since September 2023. Previously, Rose was the Director of Operations at BLOK, a tech-enabled fitness company, from August 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included enhancing customer experience and optimizing organizational structures. Before that, Rose held the position of Head of Workspace Strategy at Bulb, a carbon-neutral energy provider, from February 2019 to August 2021, contributing to its recognition as the Financial Times' fastest-growing business in 2018 and 2019. Between July 2014 and October 2018, Rose was the Head of Special Projects at Second Home, focusing on business expansion and partnership development for UK startups. Earlier in the career, Rose acted as General Manager at The Exchange from December 2013 to July 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Culture, Policy, and Management from City, University of London, completed in 2012.

From fixed desk incubators in vacant railway arches, to former council buildings re-imagined as creative hubs, to retail incubation on the high street - each of our spaces is a place responsive architectural and operational identity serving a range of tenant uses from product designers, to a bakery, to fashion designers and tech startupsIn 2021 Meanwhile Space has a company turnover of £1.2m and is currently operating a total of 110,000 ft2, with 160 tenants, in 24 Meanwhile Spaces. Over 85% of the tenants in our projects live in the local area, and we have worked with 14 London Boroughs, primarily in outer London.
