David Hernandez

David Hernandez is an experienced R&D professional with a focus on culinary innovation and product development. Currently serving as Sr. R&D Manager at MegaMex Foods, LLC since February 2019, David previously held roles as Director of Menu Innovation at Vallarta Supermarkets and Corporate Executive R&D Chef at Rubicon Resources. David began a culinary career at General Mills as a Corporate Chef. Educational achievements include an Associate of Science degree in Culinary Science/Culinology from The Culinary Institute of America and completion of the Better Process Control School at Chapman University. David also holds a GED from Ruben S. Ayala High School.
