Joerg Slaghuis

Joerg Slaghuis is a highly experienced professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as Senior Director and Head of R&D at Merck Gruppe since November 2008. Slaghuis has held various leadership positions within the organization, including multiple roles as Director and Associate Director focusing on R&D. Prior to joining Merck Gruppe, Slaghuis worked at Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany, as Head of Laboratory for Immunological Rapid Tests from November 2005 to October 2008. Slaghuis holds a PhD in Microbiology from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg.
