Dan Levanon

Head Of Research Group Agricultural Biothechnology at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute

Dan Levanon is a Professor for Biotechnology at Tel Hai College since March 2009. Dan also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Campus for Medicine and Research in the Galilee, focusing on the development of higher education and medical research in the region. Additionally, Dan is the Head of Research Group for Agricultural Biotechnology at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute, and previously served as the Chief Scientist at the Ministry of Agriculture Israel. With a Ph.D. in Agriculture and Soil Microbiology, Dan has a strong background in research and policy-making related to agriculture and food production.
