Nicolas Frémaux has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Nicolas started their career in 2003 as an ATC Capacity Auxiliary Expert at skyguide and later moved on to become an ATC Capacity Expert from 2005 to 2006. In 2007, Nicolas worked as a PhD Student at the Idiap Research Institute. Nicolas continued their research as a PhD Student at the Laboratory of Computational Neuroscience, Brain Mind Institute, EPFL from 2008 to 2013. Nicolas then joined MindMaze, where they held various positions including Computer Vision Engineer from 2013 to 2015, Computer Vision Team Lead from 2015 to 2020, Data & Algorithms Team Lead from 2020 to 2022, and currently serves as the Head of Product Development.
Nicolas Frémaux pursued their education at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computational Neuroscience from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Physics at the same institution between 1998 and 2003. Additionally, they obtained certification in "Organizational Leadership: Driving Culture and Performance" from the Institute for Management Development in 2023.
