William Stockdell is a seasoned software and firmware engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and team management. Currently serving as Software Engineering Manager at MVE Biological Solutions since July 2023, William is focused on developing advanced control systems and monitoring solutions for cryogenic freezers. Previously, at Western Digital from August 2016 to July 2023, William held various roles, including Senior Manager of Firmware Engineering, where leadership in agile transformation and career development for high-performing teams was emphasized. Prior to Western Digital, experience included senior engineering positions at HGST and IBM, where William contributed to firmware development for hard drives and systems management software for supercomputers, respectively. William holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Wilkes University.
