Rashid Khalifa, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Rashid began their career in 2004 as a Construction Engineer at Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company. Rashid then worked at Kenana Engineering and Technical Services, where they served as a Civil Coordinator and later as the Civil Dept. Manager. After that, they joined Kuwaiti Similar General Trading and Contracting Co. as a Snr. Contracts Engineer. In 2016, they joined Kuwait Gulf Oil Company as a Contracts Engineer, and in 2019, they joined Kuwait Oil Tanker Company as a Contracts Specialist. Currently, Rashid holds the position of Corporate Procurement Officer at NAKILAT, and they are also serving as the Acting Head of Corporate Procurement since 2023.
Rashid Khalifa, PMP holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Khartoum, which they obtained from 1997 to 2002. In 2012, they obtained a Masters Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University. Additionally, in June 2012, they earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Nakilat is a Qatari shipping and maritime company with the world’s largest LNG shipping fleet, comprising of 69 LNG carriers. The company also owns one floating storage regasification unit (FSRU) and manages four large LPG carriers. Via strategic joint ventures, Nakilat operates ship repair and construction facilities (N-KOM and QFAB) at the world-class Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard, provides towage services (NSW), shipping agency services as well as maritime support services (NAC) to vessels operating in Qatari waters.
