Jas Takhar currently serves as the Reporting and Systems Lead at National Gas since March 2024. Previously, at Shawton Telecoms & Utilities from June 2022 to February 2024, Jas held the role of Data and Technology Officer, significantly contributing to ISO 45001 certification and leading the integration of various technologies. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Data and Analytics, where Jas established a data-driven culture by developing data strategies and pipelines. Additionally, Jas worked at telent Technology Services Ltd as Head of Reporting and Lead Root Cause Analyst, focusing on data analysis and reporting systems. Jas co-owned the Red Lion Hotel from April 2011 to April 2022, overseeing a successful refurbishment and a shift in business model. Earlier roles at Barclays involved financial crime analysis and MI reporting, while the career began at MITIE as a Security Officer and at The AA in service delivery. Jas holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Forensic and Investigation from Coventry University and A Levels in Mathematics, Geography, and Biology.
