Brian Sapp

Brian Sapp currently serves as the Director of External Affairs at National Grid, a position held since June 2019, after previously working as Government Relations Manager. Prior to this role, Brian Sapp was the Long Island Regional Representative at the New York State Department of Labor for a brief period in early 2019 and served as the Governor's Representative for Suffolk County at the New York State Executive Chamber from July 2017 to March 2019. Brian Sapp's experience also includes the position of Chief of Staff for the Suffolk County Legislature from January 2014 to July 2017 and Community Relations Liaison for Suffolk County from January 2013 to January 2014. Additional roles include Canvass Director for Krupski for Legislature, Field Organizer for Bishop for Congress, and Field Manager for the Suffolk County Coordinated Campaign. Brian Sapp holds a Master of Business Administration from St. Joseph's University New York, a Graduate Certificate in Marketing from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Relations from St. Joseph's University New York.
