Steven Ferguson currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Licovolt™ since July 2024. With extensive experience in academia, Ferguson holds the position of Associate Professor at University College Dublin in the School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering since November 2015 and is also an Assistant Professor in the same department. Ferguson is a Principal Investigator at NIBRT National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training and holds the title of Adjunct Assistant Professor at Trinity College Dublin. Leadership roles include UCD Lead Investigator in the EPSRC & SFI CDT in Transformative Pharmaceutical Technologies and SPOKE Project Lead Investigator at I-Form Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre. Previous experience includes a role as a Scientist at Biogen Idec and a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT, focusing on advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing. Ferguson earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a BE in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering from University College Dublin.
