Brian Plummer is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology field with extensive experience in production and manufacturing roles. Currently serving as a Senior Production Scientist at New England Biolabs since August 2017, Brian is involved in facility startup and the commissioning and validation of various microbial process equipment. Prior to this, Brian held roles at Lonza as a Training Specialist and at Samsung BioLogics as a Senior Manager in both Downstream Manufacturing and Manufacturing Technologies, where responsibilities included technical transfer of products, generation of Master Batch Records, and development of control strategies. Brian's career commenced at Lonza Biologics Singapore, progressing through roles such as Downstream Manufacturing Shift Manager and Upstream Manufacturing Shift Manager, with expertise in GMP startup and chromatography. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in General Biology from the University of New Hampshire.
