Ryan Theisen is a seasoned machine learning professional currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at NewLimit since January 2025. Prior experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Scientist at Harmonic Discovery from October 2022 to November 2024 and as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2018 to August 2023. Ryan has also gained valuable experience as a Deep Learning Research Intern at Salesforce during two separate periods in 2019 and 2020, and as a Graduate Student Researcher at The Luminosity Lab from August 2016 to May 2018. Earlier in career, Ryan worked as a Senior Data Analyst at Amazon from June 2016 to August 2017. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from the same institution. Additionally, participation in the Fulbright Summer Institute for Young American Student Leaders at the University of Bristol is noted.
