Michael is an entrepreneur, investor, and operator with two decades of experience in technology, data, analytics, sales, and marketing optimization. He currently serves as the Founding Partner at Performant Capital, a Chicago-based investment firm focused on majority and buyout investments in technology-driven companies. Prior to Performant Capital, Michael acquired and operated three software businesses in a buy-and-build strategy in the SEO SaaS vertical successfully exiting to a financial buyer in 2018. Prior to that, Michael founded a software business that he sold to Market Track, a private equity backed company, in 2014 and spent three years in corporate development at Numerator (f/k/a Market Track).
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
