Prior experience includes serving as the Scientific Affairs Manager at Danone North America, where Mona supported sustainable business growth through strategic nutrition and communication strategies, and as a Nutrition Research Scientist at WhiteWave Foods, focusing on product innovation across various food categories. Academic contributions were made as a Professor at Front Range Community College, creating comprehensive nutrition science lessons, and prior roles included educational outreach and technical sales at Solgar Vitamin and Herb, outpatient dietitian at Healthmark, and manager of the Prenatal Plus program at Clinica Campesina. Mona holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from South Dakota State University and a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Fitness/Exercise Physiology from North Dakota State University.
